The provincial talent work research team inspected the talent work in the two districts.

On the morning of January 19, Wang Zhiyun, a researcher from the Talent Work Division of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, led a team to inspect the progress of the two districts’ efforts to establish themselves as provincial pilot zones for talent reform. Chen Xiaojuan, a member of the Municipal Party Committee and head of the Municipal Party Committee’s Organization Department, attended the meeting held in the New Area. The inspection team visited, in turn, the Zhongshan Institute of Industrial Technology, the Zhongshan Overseas Study Personnel Entrepreneurship Park, and the China-Switzerland (Europe) Innovation Center. Xu Xing, Deputy Director of the New Area Management Committee, on behalf of the two districts, introduced the mechanisms for attracting high-level talents, the operational models of major talent platforms, and the effectiveness of talent policies implemented in the two districts. Several talent representatives, including Dr. Huang Shaohui, a fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ “Hundred Talents Program,” shared their experiences in starting businesses in the two districts and discussed the bottlenecks they had encountered with the inspection team. The provincial inspection team praised the two districts’ explorations and innovations in talent work, and expressed its support for the districts to continue innovating their talent systems and mechanisms, building high-end platforms for scientific research talent, and enhancing the two districts’ visibility and influence within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
